Tiny Berlin

Tiny houses made in Berlin

Tiny Berlin is a Kreuzberg based project started by Owen McCann.

We specialize in in Tiny House, Zirkuswagen and Bauwagen construction.  We reclaim and repurpose DDR trailers and ZirkusWagens, converting them into beautiful and affordable living spaces. We work primarily with ecological materials and source our wood locally. If you are interested in working with us please get in touch.

Schumann Zirkus Wagen

Originally built in 1928 by the Albert Schumann Theater company, the ZirkusWagen has been beautifully restored and modernized.  The wagon has a modern kitchen and Morsø wood burner for heating. There are two entrances, one of which is a stable door (Dutch door). There is 6 sq meters of storage space under the wagon. The wagon is 7 x 2.5m wide, fully insulated with holzfaser.

This model is 5.5 x 2.5m. The Tiny House contains all modern appliances including modern kitchen, infrared heating, shower and compost toilet and keyless remote control double doors. All windows and doors are triple glazing. The interior walls are stained birch and the wooden exterior is Siberian Larch. There is a storage cabin under the wagon.

Beekeepers Wagon

This is our newest model, a former Beekeepers wagon (Bienenwagen). The wagon is 8 meters long and consists of two bedrooms. Work will begin September 2020 in Kreuzberg, Berlin. If you are interested please contact us. We can build the wagon to any specifications or preferences.
